Don't get stuck in the iceberg!

Don’t settle for just the tip of the iceberg. I believe that we all experience feelings in an iceberg form. I call it our “iceberg emotion.” The iceberg emotion is the emotion that the world can see, the one we are wearing on our face and in our tone of voice. What’s underneath holds more meaning and reminds us we are human and complex. The underneath emotions are kinder and more forgiving. Don’t settle for your iceberg emotion. Do the work to explore what’s underneath and then take whatever actions that make sense.
